In the early days on Buiksloterdijk we shared a spot with our friends from Saunakaravaan, where we organised sauna evenings with live music together. They joined us in our second location, but unfortunately had to leave in 2019. After some travelling through the city they ended up in the area of Tuinen van West. Their sauna kept us sane and feeling good in years of working hard and we kept on going to their Sunday sauna evenings. For our 10 year anniversary, we want to pick up this collaboration and share the bliss of the sauna combined with live music with you.
Join us for a small festival at the beautiful, low-key and DIY wellness haven Saunakaravaan created in Amsterdam-West, with no less than three saunas, a hot tub, campfire and a dome for performances.

DE KRATERS
One man synth band “de Kraters”, started in the last lockdown, plays 80’s wave, synth punk and blunt Italo on a few synths, drum machines and a vocoder from 1980. This day the daughter of de Krater plays along on flanger guitar. She also sings cold wave classics and dream pop of today.
NIKOLFO
Based in Berlin, Niko de Paula Lefort works as sound artist. His practice covers the fields of music making – composition and improvisation with guitar, voice, electronics, percussion, radio transmission and various sounding objects -, instrument building, field recording and radio art installation. Also known as nikoLFO, he is a resident host on Archipel Stations Community Radio and co-founder of record labels Portals Editions and Archipel Editions.
As a singer, Eva Hoogland specializes in Turkish folk music and free improvisation. Her repertoire comes from various Turkish regions with a preference for Eastern Anatolian songs. Eva comes from a musical family, being the daughter of fortepianist Stanley Hoogland and sister of improviser Oscar Jan Hoogland, with whom she was part of the psych/funk/folk band 69AY.
MICROWOLF
Microwolf is the alias of the Tilburg DIY singer/producer Benjamin van Vliet. After being the leader of the stubborn anti-folk band Moi, le voisin for 7 years, he founded Microwolf for his most intimately radical ideas. In 2023 he released his last album ‘Changelings’ on Tiny Room Records, an ambitious and jazzy prog-folk concept album about becoming a father. Live at the Saunakaravaan he brings the long, meandering pieces of this album back to their acoustic, intimate origins.
HENDRIK DE PECKER
Hendrik de Pecker (1995) is dichter, toneel en scenarioschrijver en niet praktiserend ingenieur. In 2019 won hij met zijn gedichten de tweede prijs van Write Now! Eindhoven. Hij stond op Lowlands, was hij te vinden in de digitale Dichters in de Prinsentuin. Op het moment schrijf hij aan een tekst over Ikea een vondeling en dromen. Hij studeert Writing for Performance in Utrecht waar hij met de liefde van zijn leven en twee katten een benedenwoninkje betrekt.
PATSY KROONENBERG
Patsy Kroonenberg (1998) studeerde in 2020 af als actrice en theatermaker, aan de Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht. Ze liep stage bij Orkater en Het Nieuw Utrechts Toneel.
Na haar afstuderen speelde ze o.a. bij het NUT, Het Nationale Theater Jong, de Veenfabriek, Theater Sonnevanck en Toneelgroep Oostpool. Naast haar acteerwerkzaamheden is Patsy ook maker, ze schreef en regisseerde een korte filmmonoloog die werd gespeeld door Joost Prinsen. Momenteel maakt ze een podcast voor Muzee over Scheveningse vrouwen.
