Back in 2010, this trio (plus Michael Moore on a few tracks) released an album, Avalonia. The album received favorable reviews, and concerts followed. They played the Bimhuis, to SITP programmer Tim Sprangers’ delight (review). Unfortunately, Flin van Hemmen decided to emigrate, so the three didn’t play together as a group for a long time. Until 2018, in this very series, when the group seamlessly incorporated 8 years of experience into an already amazing trio.
