SIGURD HOLE
Sigurd Hole has established himself as one of Norways most wanted bass players, being part of Tord Gustavsen trio, Karl Seglem acoustic quartet, Eple Trio and Jon Eberson Group as well as collaborations with folk singer Eli Storbekken, pianist Helge Lien, and saxophonist Trygve Seim and pianist Bugge Wesseltoft. He has been nominated to Norwegian Grammys twice in recent years.
As a bass player he represents an innovative and creative approach to his instrument strongly influenced by a mixture of elements from Norwegian folk music and different Eastern musical traditions.
