His visual work is characterized by simplicity and accessibility and can regularly be seen in the major museums of the Netherlands. His theater performances are visual, sensory and cinematic. Due to his enormous freedom and unconventional attitude, Zegveld criss-crosses through various disciplines and allows the spectator to experience and discover absurdities. In addition to performances for theaters, festivals and his autonomous visual art, he has made productions for Orkater and television series for the VPRO.

Badenhorst. What started in 2018 as an alter ego to explore new musical terrain (pop, hip- hop, R&B), has slowly over the years evolved into an organic live-band and a new album.

Zero Years Kid performs in The Netherlands for the first time!

JOACHIM BADENHORST
Joachim Badenhorst is known for his moving improvisations that go straight to the heart. Educated at the conservatory in The Hague and active from Antwerp to New York, he is particularly renowned for his award-winning clarinet skills. But there is more than that. Both original, diverse and always surprising as a solo musician, also owner of the record label “KLEIN”, participant in countless ensembles and bandleader of Carate Urio Orchestra and Zero Years Kid, among others. He is considered one of the most refined names to emerge from Belgium’s improv and jazz scene over the past fifteen years.

12 TRIBES OF MARS

Drawing inspiration from the captivating realm of dub, the band pays homage to the visionary producers who have reshaped reggae tracks with their innovative remakes. Their music transcends cultural and geographical borders, embodying the belief that aesthetic music is a universal language that resonates with people across the globe. With each note and rhythm, 12 Tribes of Mars strives to dissolve the barriers that separate us, forging connections that transcend race, age, and generational differences.

HEMONY
Hemony commands the stage with a relentless energy. Their psychedelic punk sound combines spacy melodies with explosive riffs to create a sonic landscape that is both challenging and exciting. With society- and self-critical lyrics that cut to the bone, Hemony delivers a raw, frustrated sound that leaves a lasting impression. Their music is both thought-provoking and emotionally charged.

KISS THE EARTH, YOU SCUM
Flamenco on acid, rage on stage Kiss the earth, you scum is a musical fury platform. Fury fuels action. It is the engine for change. There is so much to be angry about but society leaves little room for that. Particularly when it comes to women. Kiss the earth, you scum is an invitation to experience rage so you can no longer remain passive. Allow yourself to be carried away on the wings of this furious ritual. More adrenalin, more risk, more action, and a faster heartbeat.

As she dances, the award-winning performer and creator Karlijn Hamer enters into a dialogue as part of a musical installation of furious slogans, rhythms, punk, other music and movement. A wooden floor transforms into a living effect pedal.

KHORSHID DADBEH
is an Iranian instrumentalist, improviser and composer based in Rotterdam. She presents her music by performing Tanbour, Tar, and Setar. Tanbour music belongs to the category of mystic and Sufi music that has more than five thousand years of history behind it. She learned this music from the masters who formed a bridge between the tradition and new generations.

AMULETO MANUELA
Amuleto Manuela is a sound artist based in Berlin. Her process-based work – which includes the crafting of soundscapes, sound sculptures, DJ sets, listening collective practices and radio shows – all builds on listening as its core principle and arises as a context-driven response to the search for spaces of encounter. Born and bred in what we today know as Colombia, she addresses diaspora and identity questions in her work, with the will to unlearn and remember other ways of inhabiting our collective life experience.

DJ LNRG (Lennart Heyndels)
Lennart Heyndels (°1990) is a Belgian bassist, synthesist, composer and DJ based in Brussels who performs in a wide variety of musical settings. In his dj set he creates live electronic dance music.
