10 years De Ruimte meets ADE in a special night with live music. Cumbia, punk rock, magnetising spirituals with Arabic, Berber and African influences and unexplored spaces. After 24h there will be hard beats.

SUPERINCA & THE GALACTIC GREEN
Cumbia punk rock and tons of endless energy make Superinca & the Galactic Green a magical act to witness. They can play for hours on end, combining screaming stubborn keyboards, sweet perfect guitar harmonies, carried with the never ending swing of the bass and the drums while singing and bouncing us all towards a trancelike state.

Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti  – vocals | Oscar Jan Hoogland – synth | Thijs Elzinga – guitar | Joep Bollinger – bass | Marcos Baggiani – drums

GIUSEPPE DORONZO SOLO
As lover of unexplored space, border crossing sounds, reeds player Giuseppe is constantly expanding his personal vocabulary in music, as he will undoubtedly show tonight.

MOLA SYLLA SOLO
Singer/percussionist Mola Sylla grew up in Dakar, Senegal, in the tradition of the griots. In West African culture, griots convey stories, sometimes decorated with music, theater and dance. He has developed his own unique style and is active in several ensembles.

SAMIRA’S BLUES
Samira’s Blues brings you a blend of magnetising spirituals & originals with Arabic, Berber and African roots. Samira Dainan follows the nomadic trail of her ancestors, by living in Morocco’s desert, attending ceremonies in the Atlas Mountains and the Sous and joining Gnaoua lilas in Essaouira. Back in Amsterdam she writes and composes songs for her band, together with guitarist Bas Gaakeer.

MOHAMED AL TAYEB AND THE NUBANS

Mohamed al Tayeb (32) is a singer from central Sudan. He discovered his passion for music, at a young age, when his father played him cassette tapes of Sudanic political songs about stories of freedom and conflict. Together with his generation in Sudan, Mohamed el Tayeb found his own esthetical way to call for peace and justice. However, his music performances were seen as an ongoing protest and he was forced to flee Sudan. Together with his band, the Nubans,  Mohamed al Tayeb performs a blend of east African traditionals dipped in a modern, contemporary jacket where the emphasis is on strong rhythmic grooves and Sahel melodies from the Nile river.
