BÜHNENBIEST – KATHRIN GRAMELSBERGER, JÖRGEN GARIO UNOM
Ni Ile/daheim – “It feels like there is a never ending circle of constructing and deconstructing a home within myself.”

A research about losing and finding a home and the inner chaos that both cause. Kathrin visits the various “homes” that she has built up over time and has outgrown. In addition, she is curious about the physical memories her body has stored.

When do we start creating a home? And what happens when we outgrow the home we’ve built? What is happening before we start packing? What is moving within ourselves?

In collaboration with spoken word artist and musician Jörgen, Kathrin searches for ways to tell this story with movement and sound. On 19 January, Kathrin and Jörgen shared their initial findings during the Come together festival at the Frascati theatre. From February 2023 Kathrin will continue this research during a social residency at 2turvenhoog in Almere.
